Have you been to my new journal yet? Just wondering. For some reason I can’t respond to comments, so I have to respond to sixndone here. They asked about what I eat now that I eat smaller meals more often. Well it’s been a little over a month since I started eating healthier and working out. At first I started eating smaller portions of what I normally would eat. I paid attention to calories, carbs, protien, sugar, etc. I made sure I was eating 1 serving and not 3. More recently I went on a week of veggies and dairy products. Luckily I love veggies and fruits so that was easy. I wasn’t taking in enough protien and possibly iron because I felt weak towards the end. Now I only eat fried food once a month (a huge change since I do live in the South) if at all. I eat baked chicken and fish. Here is a typical meal plan for me. Breakfast Snack (only if I am hungry,which I usually am not if I eat oatmeal or else I have this as a dessert some days) Lunch Snack (before my workout) Dinner Dessert (one of the following, usually only 2-3 times a week) I have lost 10 lbs since I started (Dec 11, 2006) and 12 inches total. I’ve been eating more often than usual. But I eat less at a time. Usually 3 meals and two small snacks. I only eat when I’m actually hungry. I drink a glass of water if I feel “hungry and give it 10 min. If I’m still hungry I’ll eat something small to curb the hunger until later (usually a slice of whole wheat bread with peanut butter or a piece of fruit) and another cup of water.
